• Files: Files you choose to upload are temporarily processed and stored on Supabase servers
• File Metadata: File names, sizes, and upload timestamps
• Download Links: Temporary URLs generated for file access

• File Sharing: To upload your files and generate shareable download links
• User Experience: To remember your settings and show upload history
• Notifications: To inform you about upload progress and completion
• Clipboard: To automatically copy download links for your convenience

🔒 Data Storage and Security

Local Storage

• Settings and upload history are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API
• This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it
• You can clear this data anytime through the extension settings

Cloud Storage

• Uploaded files are stored on Supabase (a secure cloud storage service)
• Files are automatically deleted after the expiration time (default: 1 hour)
• Download links use signed URLs with time-limited access
• We do not have permanent access to your uploaded files

🚫 What We Don't Do

• No Analytics: We don't track your usage or collect analytics data
• No Personal Data: We don't collect names, emails, or personal information
• No File Content Analysis: We don't scan, analyze, or access your file contents
• No Third-Party Sharing: We don't share your data with advertisers or third parties
• No Permanent Storage: Files are automatically deleted after expiration

🌐 Third-Party Services

EasyShare uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase: For secure file storage and download link generation
• Vercel: For API hosting and request processing

👤 Your Rights and Control

• Delete Data: Clear your upload history and settings anytime through the extension
• File Control: Your uploaded files expire automatically (1-24 hours)
• Settings Control: Modify or disable any extension features
• Uninstall: Remove the extension to delete all local data

🔄 Data Retention

• Local Data: Stored until you clear it or uninstall the extension
• Uploaded Files: Automatically deleted after 1-24 hours (configurable)
• Download Links: Expire with the files (no permanent storage)
